Associate
Plaid associates are talented individuals who provide professional services to support Plaid programs and projects. Associates serve in either project support or project lead capacities, which varies by the scope of work and project activities.

What types of work do Plaid associates do?
Associates engage in work that supports Plaid’s products, services, and projects. These work activities might include:
- Curriculum Development–Designing learning content (i.e. workshops, educational strategies, facilitator guides, program materials) to be delivered either in-person, online, or in a hybrid setting.
- Instructional Design–Using online learning platforms to construct courses or other digital and remote learning experiences
- Facilitation–Serving in an in-person or remote facilitator role
- Strategic Planning–Guiding clients through strategic planning processes, either in-person or remotely
- Research and Assessment–Designing, analyzing, or reporting on data collection efforts
How characteristics or qualifications do successful associates possess?
Successful associates are self-starters who can independently manage projects and accompanying deadlines. Associates will sometimes be tasked with working with Plaid team members or other associates, therefore being able to effectively collaborate to produce high-quality work is a skill we look for.
How are associates compensated?
Associates are compensated based on a per-project basis. Compensation is provided based on an agreed upon amount that is determined at the start of an associate’s involvement with a project. Due to the varying nature of project scope, activities, and length, compensation fluctuates based on the project or engagement.
