Client Success Manager +

Plaid seeks a Client Success Manager to create long-term, trusting relationships with our clients and users. The primary responsibility is to work directly with clients and offer guidance so they maximize the value of our products and services. The role oversees a portfolio of clients, develops new business from existing clients, and actively seeks new sales opportunities — answering client queries, responding to support requests, and onboarding new clients. If you have a knack for client communication, get excited by problem solving, are familiar with CRM software, are outrageously organized, and are incredibly attentive to detail, we’d like to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the lead point of contact for all client account management matters related to the implementation, monitoring, and support of Plaid’s services.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Serve as the gatekeeper for the daily flow of client customer-service requests and ensure they are assigned per process guidelines.
- Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, client stakeholders, and executive sponsors.
- Ensure the timely and successful delivery of Plaid’s standard programs and solutions according to client needs and objectives.
- Develop new business with established and new clients, and identify areas of improvement to meet sales goals.
- Prepare reports for monthly client success meetings.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory.
- Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.

The details
- Time allocation: Client success 70%, client support & response 10%, sales 20%.
- Remote position; expect 5–10% travel.
- $50k–$60k per year, plus health insurance, sales commission, and an annual bonus structure.

Consultant — Curriculum Development & Learning +
Curriculum & instructional design

Plaid seeks a Consultant to take significant responsibility in curriculum review and development, assisting in the creation, review, and revision of Plaid’s in-person and online curriculum. This includes custom educational course-sets and modules requested by clients, as well as Plaid’s signature programs. This person works closely with clients to manage online curriculum projects from inception through completion and collaborates with Plaid colleagues and associates to determine educational pairings with online courses. While much of the time is spent designing curriculum and courses, the Consultant may also facilitate some in-person programs as needed.
Responsibilities
- Conceptualize and build in-person and online curriculum and courses to client specifications.
- Manage client projects from inception to completion — including expectations, timeline, content delivery, and content quality.
- Create and edit supplemental resources to be paired with in-person and online curriculum.
- Review and revise existing Plaid curriculum and courses to ensure relevance with current industry standards.
- Present and facilitate in-person programs, as needed.
- Assist with general Plaid administrative needs, as necessary.
Experience & requirements
- Some familiarity with Adobe Suite and the Articulate e-learning system.
- Experience in computer-based course development and delivery.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Plaid seeks a Business Development Associate to develop new opportunities, close sales by contacting potential clients directly, assist with marketing efforts, and manage B2B relationships. The ideal candidate has proven experience in business development or fundraising and is prepared to move to the next level in their career. This position is 100% remote; some travel may be required for company meetings, conferences, and to meet with clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage the existing sales pipeline and develop new business opportunities.
- Identify and research potential new clients; cultivate relationships to secure new business.
- Develop and maintain client relationships.
- Take a lead role in the development of proposals, presentations, and RFP responses.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure revenue targets are met.
- Gather useful information from customer and competitor data.

Per-project compensation
Plaid associates are talented individuals who provide professional services to support Plaid programs and projects. Associates serve in either project-support or project-lead capacities, which varies by the scope of work and project activities.
What Plaid associates do
- Curriculum development — designing learning content (workshops, educational strategies, facilitator guides, program materials) delivered in person, online, or in a hybrid setting.
- Instructional design — using online learning platforms to construct courses and other digital, remote learning experiences.
- Facilitation — serving in an in-person or remote facilitator role.
- Strategic planning — guiding clients through strategic planning processes, in person or remotely.
- Research & assessment — designing, analyzing, or reporting on data collection efforts.
Who succeeds
Successful associates are self-starters who can independently manage projects and deadlines. Associates are sometimes tasked with working alongside Plaid team members or other associates, so the ability to collaborate effectively and produce high-quality work is a skill we look for.
Compensation
Associates are compensated on a per-project basis, at an agreed-upon amount determined at the start of the engagement. Because project scope, activities, and length vary, compensation fluctuates accordingly.
